- Only the County Board can vote on property and sales taxes
- Pierog has no involvement with work visas
- She has no authority in determining whether non-citizens vote which is illegal in all 50 states
- The climate action plan is a net plus benefit for the county. Chairwoman DID NOT vote on this.
- Illinois became a sanctuary state under Republican leadership years ago
- Accepting donations from unions and legitimate local companies is not illegal
