Join the Kane County Democrats this summer and march with us in the annual Swedish Days Parade! Lineup begins at noon and step-off is at 1:00pm. More information will be forthcoming.
Please bring Dem-friendly signs, wave your American flags, and bring candy to hand out to the kiddos!
Today is Primary Day to determine which candidates will represent the Democratic and Republican parties on the ballot in November. Polls open at 6:00am and close at 7:00pm. If you are in line at 7:00pm to vote, please remain in line as the polls cannot close until everyone has voted. Results will trickle in through the evening on the Kane County Clerk’s website.
Join the Dundee Democrats on the 2nd Monday of every month for their township meetings.
Once a month on Saturdays from 10-11am, join Rep Hirschauer to hear what has been going on in Springfield, in her office, and in the 49th District. She’ll answer questions and learn about the issues that are most important to you.
The Kane County convention is held every two years following the primary election on even-numbered years. This is when all new PCs are officially elected and can thus elect the Chair and Executive Board members of the Kane County Democrats. This is a weighted vote based on the number of Democratic ballots pulled in your precinct for that primary election. We will have the weighted number once the ballot is certified following the June 28 election. The scheduled County Convention is a set date required by Illinois state law, which will take place this year on Wednesday July 27.
If you are a newly elected PC for the 2022-2024 term, please email us at info@kanedems.org to ensure that your email is included in our invite. Please note that this is a private event and that only elected and appointed PCs will be allowed in.
