January Talking Points

Over the weekend, the Trump administration captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and declared that the United States is going to “run” the country and take its oil. Despite an overwhelming majority of Americans opposing war with Venezuela, Trump and his administration are plunging forward and committing the U.S. to an uncertain role with an unknown timeline.
