As am American singer and political commentator from Chicago, Illinois – Santita has spent her life balancing creativity with progressive civil policy that focuses on advancing our national consciousness. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina; the daughter of Lavinia Brown Jackson and Reverend Jesse Jackson, and the sibling to Jesse Jr., Jonathan, Yusef, and Jacqueline.
Santita has contributed as a political commentator on Fox News Channel, MSNBC and at The Grio — and hosts her own television show on The Word Network. Jackson is also a producer for her father’s show “Upfront with Jesse Jackson” and is the writer, co-host, and executive producer of the nationally syndicated radio show “Keep Hope Alive with Reverend Jess Jackson”. As well, Santita is currently known for hosting The Santita Jackson Show on Chicago’s WVON 1690 network.
