Petition season begins on January 13, 2022 this year. All candidates running for the June primary will begin hunting for signatures. Please remember that you can only sign petitions for ONE party (Democrat OR Republican, not both) and you must reside in the district for which that candidate is running. Questions? We are having a pop up drive through petition signing event with State Senator Karina Villa and State Representative Maura Hirschauer on Thursday Jan. 13th in the parking lot of The Slice Spot from 4p – 7p, 960 Roosevelt Rd in West Chicago. People can drive by and sign the petition from their car, take a sheet to get signatures if they want and can stop in and get some pizza for dinner if they wish.
The Batavia Dem’s will be meeting at East China Inn, 140 W Wilson St, Batavia.
