The Western Kane Democrats are excited to participate in the Sugar Grove Corn Boil Parade! 🌽🎆
The Sugar Grove Corn Boil is a beloved community tradition that brings together families, neighbors, local organizations, and community groups for a weekend of celebration, fun, and hometown pride.
We’re looking for volunteers to help us create a fun, energetic, and welcoming presence in the parade while connecting with the community and promoting people-powered organizing.
Volunteers may help with:
- Walking in the parade
- Carrying banners or signs
- Handing out candy, flyers, or giveaways
- Helping with lineup and staging
- Taking photos/video for social media
- Bringing positive energy and community spirit throughout the event
This is a family-friendly event and a great opportunity to meet fellow volunteers, connect with neighbors, and represent Democratic values of inclusion, civic engagement, opportunity, and community involvement.
Additional details including lineup location, arrival time, parking information, and attire recommendations will be shared closer to the event date.
