Kane County Young Democrats Meeting
November 10 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
What happened on Tuesday night is feeling particularly surreal. Democrats in Kane County, and across the country, absolutely crushed it. We had a clean sweep here on the Kane County Board, with all Democrats winning, including Phil Silagi who is leading by only 47 votes. A big shout out to one of our members, Ricky Rivard, for crushing Nasty Ugaste in the election for HD65!
Not that the dust has settled and our hard work towards getting Democrats elected is done this time around, it’s time to work on the other part of our mission: getting young people activated. We saw Gen Z turnout like crazy for Democrats this cycle and we need to capitalize off that.
Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 10th on Zoom from 6:300 PM – 7:30 PM. We will discuss things that went well this cycle, things that could be improved, and how the Young Dems can play a role in these things.
As always, let me know if you need anything,
