2011 Truman Dinner Invite
We are gearing up for our biggest fundraising event of the year, the Harry S. Truman Dinner. The Truman Dinner is a great way to meet fellow Democrats from the area and to help support the Kane County Democrats. There are several guest speakers invited including: Senator Richard Durbin, Governor Quinn, State Senators Mike Noland and Linda Holmes, as well as State House Representatives Linda Chapa-Lavia and Keith Farnham. Yesterday, the President announced the framework of a bipartisan agreement to extend a set of tax cuts that were set to expire, restore unemployment benefits for millions of Americans, and pass additional measures to help middle-class families and create jobs.

This agreement, while not perfect, is vital to millions of Americans who are out of work through no fault of their own — as well as millions of middle-class families, students, parents, and small businesses.
